The Municipal Advisory Corporation was formed in 1992 to provide management leadership to member municipalities
who purchased group life or group health benefits from Assumption Mutual Assurance Ltd. The Corporation operates
under a mandate to provide a cost effective employee benefits package for group life and group health benefits
coverage and includes education and awareness programming to assist member municipalities. The corporation also
provides an employee family assistance program (EAP) through Homewood Health.
